This was our first full day in Tokyo.
Cat walking down one of the many alley ways in Asakusa.
Machine that makes the little fish shaped pancakes filled with red bean paste. Red bean is VERY popular in Japanese snacks and sweets.
The most stylish dog we've encountered in Japan.
Cat shaking the fortune box. Fortune = 100 yen. Good fortune in marriage and work = priceless.
(Btw, howshiny is my hair??)
One must purify the body and soul before entering the temple.
So many snacks. Wish we took a photo of the fresh, straight off the oven, dipped in soy sauce cracker that we bought. It was so good we ate it too quickly. Even better were the fried mochi balls (green tea and the sesame were the best).
Finally, a photo of Ron!
Can't be in Japan without taking a photo of the coy fish.
Cat and Hello Kitty. All she wanted to buy was a Hello Kitty keychain.
Ron was really excited about Final Fantasy stuff. Yeah, I just called it stuff.
Machine where you order your noodles.
Cat's food. I said Cat's, not cat food. Udon noodles with beef and leeks on top.
Ron's food. Some kind of bacon with rice and soba noodles in broth.
